I recently had the opportunity to review the Baker’s Mat Silicone Baking Mat.
The Baker’s Mat Silicone Baking Mat is a silicone mat replaces the need for parchment paper and cooking sprays. FDA approved, dishwasher safe, also cleans easily with soap and water. Lays flat, great for baking cookies, rolling dough, making candy or pizza dough. The Baker's Mat easily handles the extreme temperatures of the freezer, microwave and all types of ovens, and even the dishwasher. Withstands temperatures from -40°F to 480°F (-40°C to 249°C).
I used this nifty mat to bake some cinnamon buns for my family. I LOVED the fact that the buns turned out larger when baking on the silicone mat than how they usually turn out when I bake them on my metal pan sprayed with pam. The buns seemed to expand a lot more and seemed flakier… just how I like them!
The cleanup is a lot less messy and so much easier. Nothing stuck to the mat and my pan stayed clean enough to use again without washing. This is totally a kitchen necessity in my book!
